At UrbanEater, we live and breathe with a simple vision:

Our online ordering service has been designed with a focus on customer experience and restaurant in mind. We are driven to see our customers succeed. Our commitment and passion have been translating into many success stories for our food partners – driving impactful online and in-store sales through our innovating online platform.

Our Story & Team

As the pandemic forces the world to bunker down at home, some of our friends in the restaurant industry were quite the opposite, they were out in their restaurants everyday, working tirelessly just to try getting through the financial strain.

Besides ordering more frequently from their friends, three like-minded IT trio, Gary, John and Edward decided to do something productive during the lockdown to show their support. Understanding that most delivery apps out there charge nearly 20% commissions on the online orders, they came up with a simple but practical solution – an online ordering platform to connect restaurant and online customers. Getting started is always challenging, so they set things up and walked them through each and every step. Little did they know that, once the restaurant started to accept online orders, new orders from different channels started trickling in and they were able to keep 99% of their profits!

To say thank you to many of our beloved local restaurants and stores, the trio further developed the platform and found “UrbanEater” to help local businesses leverage technology to increase their business efficiency and growth, as well as using technology to keep their staff and customers safe.

This is just the beginning. UrbanEater has many BIG plans to make it better everyday for their users and build a stronger community together.
